On the occasion of the 126th anniversary of the birth of "Luang Pu Fan Ajaro" or "Phra Ajahn Fan" of Udomsomporn Forest Temple, Sakon Nakhon Province, the greatest monk of the Vipassana meditation line, or what is known as the "forest temple line", a forest monk of the northeastern region who is like a god of the Dharma for Buddhists.
He was one of the first disciples of Phra Ajahn Man Phurithatto, the Dharma commander of the forest temple lineage, and a significant force in spreading the teachings of Buddhism. Even King Rama IX was so revered that he traveled to pay homage to him at Wat Pa Udomsomporn, praising his virtues, conduct, and utmost diligence until his death. For this 9th edition of the Phra Ajahn Fun amulet, Captain Kasem Ngam-ek designed a new mold. It's a semi-circular, semi-oval amulet. The center of the front features a half-body portrait of Ajahn Fun, with the words "Phra Ajahn Fun Ajaro" and the words "Ngam-ek" inverted, superimposed beneath the left shoulder on the edge of the amulet.
